Drawing bookmarks that never got a rendered image (the export was skipped or the upload failed) used to show a random gradient background, making them look like a photo bookmark with nothing on it. They now show a plain placeholder icon instead, so it's clear at a glance that the drawing has no preview yet.
When listening to an article or RSS item read aloud, you can now pick the accent the voice reads with โ American, British, Australian, Irish, Indian, or Scottish โ next to the existing voice choice. Tap a sample to preview it before picking. The accent only affects English text; other languages are read as written.
Article details are now fetched in the background right after a feed loads, so clicking into an article usually shows it immediately instead of waiting on a request.
Summarizing an RSS article used to fail outright if the feed only included a short excerpt. It now fetches the full article text automatically when needed, so summaries work on more articles.
The RSS list now has a refresh button, and "mark all as read" asks for confirmation first so it's harder to hit by accident. Right-click any article in the list (or use the menu inside an open article) to mark it read or unread without having to open it.
The "Listen to article" feature now has a voice picker: open it from the reader to preview and choose from eleven voices. The choice is saved and used the next time you listen, in both the bookmark reader and the RSS reader.

The "Everything" and other type filter pills could show as highlighted even when a board or an RSS feed, not a type filter, was actually controlling what you were looking at.
If the sidebar's contents got taller than the browser window, the items past the bottom edge were cut off with no way to reach them. The sidebar now scrolls on its own when it needs to.
The board creation and edit modal has a new emoji picker: type or paste any emoji, or pick from a curated grid, with a live preview tile that combines the icon and colour. Colour swatches now show a checkmark on the selected one, and the manual/smart/mixed mode picker explains what each mode actually does to your bookmarks.
Drawing close to the side of a full-screen board could be read as a swipe to dismiss the sheet or move to the next bite instead of as a stroke, cutting the drawing short. Strokes on the board now always draw; only the last sliver at each edge still pages or dismisses.
Listening to a freshly generated narration could hang indefinitely instead of starting to play, because the player was pointed at a stream it couldn't read a length from. The narration now downloads fully before playback starts, so it always begins.
The Reader now has an "Import feeds" button next to "Add feed" wherever there are none yet. Point it at an OPML file exported from another reader and it subscribes to everything in it in one go.
Hold and drag a board or a feed row in the Library drawer, or the Mac sidebar, to put it wherever you want; a tap still opens it as before. Board order is remembered on this device, and feed order is synced.
On a phone or Mac that isn't signed into an account, WebBites now offers to lift the free 100-bite limit for a monthly or one-time payment through the App Store, verified on the device. The bites themselves don't change โ they still never leave the device โ only the ceiling does. The plan screen also now opens by asking where your bites live, on this device or in an account, before showing plans for either one.
Card thumbnails now try every image available for a bookmark, including its screenshot, uploaded file, and page preview image, before falling back to a plain gradient. Previously a card could drop to the gradient after just a few failed attempts even when another valid image was available.
Deleting a saved bite now fades the card out while a burst of dust lifts off it, and the grid reflows underneath as it goes, rather than the card just disappearing instantly.
